It can be a memorial, a house, a park gazebo, a garden house, a landscaping, a boat or houseboat, etc...

I'd like to see as much detail as you can make in the piece, with trim, embellishments, paint, landscaping.

Build something that you would like to have or see here in USonia, something that celebrates where you want to be.

The Memory Tree

This project is based on recording people’s narratives of their memories of a chosen place: park, community, building, etc… The idea is that the same people that lives in that community also record their narratives. The sound is then recorded into a chip (micro controller) connected to a speaker. The devices are placed on a central tree in the park and the micro controller will loop the sound for a day.

Mapping the routes of the ordinary

This piece is about the creation of a series of maps about the daily displacement of people as we live in a mobile society here in Northern VA. Maps humanize the landscape as they focus on the daily gesture, occupation and role that people play in space. The focus is now on the relation of people to people and people to landscape.

Flag Day 2

This action is an Update on the US Flag, to reflect on the expansion of the holistic influences of America. The new Update flag contain 101 stars to include: occupied territories, invaded territories, colonial control, etc...
This is an action that FLC does in the name of Christian Nerf, South African Artist.
